Frequently Asked Questions
As a former Local Authority School Improvement Adviser, Jenny has worked with a range of schools, often in difficult circumstances following OFSTED visits, to develop more effective leadership. A successful head teacher herself, she is able to relate to the challenges inherent in the role, and uses a range of materials, including those from the National College for School Leadership , to support the work.

Jenny’s training is always planned carefully to meet the needs of schools involved. Lively, interactive and challenging, sessions take the form of In-Service Training Days or Professional Development Meetings with one or more schools in attendance. Combining information on relevant research and pedagogy with a lively, practical, engaging approach, she challenges and extends participants’ thinking. They will have food for thought and plenty of ideas to try out for themselves that will make a real difference to their professional practice. She is also available to support individuals or small groups of teachers, leaders, and governors according to specific identified needs. In these contexts she tends to operate as a coach or mentor.
Schools that recognise the need to "grow future leaders" would benefit from the training available for middle leaders and those less experienced teachers wishing to develop their understanding of the leadership and management role.
